Περίληψη

Στην Ανεξάρτητη Αρχή του Συνηγόρου του Πολίτη, με το άρθρο 23 παρ.6 του Ν.3907/11, έχει ανατεθεί η αρμοδιότητα  του εξωτερικού ελέγχου (external monitoring) της αναγκαστικής απομάκρυνσης (επιστροφής) αλλοδαπών τρίτων χωρών στις χώρες προέλευσής τους, ως βασική εγγύηση νομιμότητας και διαφάνειας της διαδικασίας και διασφάλισης των δικαιωμάτων των αλλοδαπών.

The Independent Authority of the Greek Ombudsman, under article 23 par. 6 of Law 3907/11, is entrusted with the external monitoring of the forced removal of third-country nationals to their country of origin, as a basic guarantee not only of the legality and transparency of the process, but also, of safeguarding the rights of third-country nationals.

The Action is implemented by the Independent Authority of the Greek Ombudsman in cooperation with the EPIS of the Hellenic Parliament, within the framework of a Programme Contract signed on May 23, 2014 and approved on June 11, 2014.
